We are so grateful to God for your partnership with our Ministry which takes the message of the Gospel to the unreached. It is our vision that - by the grace of God - more than one million souls will be saved and many young people trained through this Ministry. We are so glad that you and your family are part of this vision. Thank you for all that you have done.

 

As you are aware, I am in the Evangelistic Ministry for the last 30 years and have seen many thousands saved, healed and filled with the Holy Spirit. In addition, 4 years ago, the Rays of Love Church was birthed in a very unusual way - not planned by man but rather, purposed by God. I was on a personal trip to Israel with my family and with an internationally well known, man of God. While in prayer in the upper room (where the Holy Spirit came on the day of Pentecost) he was moved by God, to there and then, ordain me and my dear wife as Pastors and commissioned us into this new additional calling. What then started as a small gathering in our living room, then graduated to our terrace and when the numbers could not be accommodated inside the house, is now a 200 member strong church – apart from many visitors who come for specific prayer needs. Every Sunday the strong uncompromised Word of God is preached and healings, deliverances, and mighty works of God are witnessed. We give God all the Glory !

 

For the last 3 years, we have been hiring the badminton hall at St. Josephs Indian High School for our Sunday Services and Church activities. However, this arrangement does not give us the freedom and flexibility we need and we are now being led to have a place of our own. Out of our resources, we have purchased 12,000 square feet land, in-between Bangalore city and the new international airport. However, given the way our church is growing, we feel that the existing land is not sufficient. We originally planned to purchase 2 acres for our church project, but as the cost of land in Bangalore is exorbitant – we could only purchase 1/8th of what we had planned. Presently there is 18000 sq ft land available adjacent to the plot that we have already purchased, and the land owner is willing to sell this land to us at a discounted rate. (Land Pic)

 

Our ministry has seldom if ever, approached its partners for finance. However, many of our partners who are connected with our church have told us that they too would like to be part of this project and use this opportunity to give unto the Lord. We are hence coming to you boldly, since this is not for our personal purposes – but for the work of God, to request you to be a part of this “Kingdom Building” and be blessed in the process.

 

We plan to go about the project in the following manner.

 

• During the first phase, we plan to purchase an additional 6000 square feet of land that will help us build a church building of a good size. This additional plot is costing us Rs.50,Lakhs (US $ 120,000), which needs to be paid to the land owner by May 01st, 2008. Hence we would be grateful if your contribution can come in by April 25th, 2008 so that we can plan accordingly. The remaining 12000 Sq.ft land costing Rs.1 Crore (US $ 240,000) can be purchased by 15th July 2008.

• During the second phase, which will commence after the purchase of the additional 6000 sq ft land, we will focus on the construction of the church building with contributions from our church members and partners and will update you regarding our plans and progress.

We request our partners to contribute a substantial amount (Rs.25,000, 50,000 & 1 lakh $5000, $10,000, & $100,000) towards this project. Indeed, if you are led to contribute more, please feel free to do so by all means. Do let us know what you can contribute and by what date you can send in your contribution. (Please note that we have time only till 1st May 2008 to purchase the first 6000 sq ft of the land).
